Stephen is an event photographer based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK, working across London, the South East and beyond. Originally from the North of England, he has lived in the south for over 24 years.

Since graduating with a degree in Design, specialising in Photography, from Blackpool in 2001, Stephen has worked as a professional photographer, bringing a documentary approach to commissions across events, advertising, sport and portraiture.

His event photography is centred on people and the moments that make an occasion memorable. From large-scale corporate events and awards ceremonies to conferences, launches, parties and live experiences, he works quietly and unobtrusively, capturing the atmosphere, interactions and unexpected moments that tell the story of an event.

‘For me, the best event photographs are the ones that bring you back to the moment. The energy in a room, a fleeting reaction, a shared laugh or a moment of concentration — those are the details that give an event its personality. I’m interested in capturing what actually happened, rather than simply documenting who was there.’

With a background in advertising and documentary photography, Stephen combines an instinct for finding authentic moments with a strong understanding of light, composition and visual storytelling. The result is a collection of images that feels natural, energetic and considered, while providing clients with a comprehensive visual record of their event.
